Well, just to let you all know...I am back home safe and sound. It started a little rocky with a flat tire in Kentucky. And I bought very good tires this last summer. Ones with road side assistance and 80,000 mile warrenty. But, it would have helped if Goodyear didn't go on strike. Because no where in KY, TN., GA, or FL did they have my tire.... No where. So I was almost stuck there in KY. But I talked to the Goodyear dealer near where I got a hole in my tire and they took a second look at the tire and they throught that maybe they would be able to fix it. It was about a 1/4 of an inch wide hole. But after being on the phone for hours with Goodyear Dealers in 4 states. I was fiinally on my way again to Florida. Thought that I was going to get stuck in KY. The trip was wonderful and I got a couple of pics. Not too many but I have to get them developed and all that good stuff because the only digital camera I have is my phone! (I know I am a loser...But I will be getting a digital pretty soon.) The weather was perfect! 80 degrees at the hottest and it was perfect for the beaches and doing everything outside!! It only rained once and that was for about 30 mins and then went back to being beautiful again. Sorry I just had to rub in the great weather that I was in! I got back on Tuesday around 4 pm. It was a long drive back and the round trip was a 3100 mile trip. But the car is still running like a champ and the plug in the tire worked GREAT. I worried about it basically the whole time hoping that nothing else would happen to it, but everything was great. Got to spend time with my aunt in Florida and had a blast I will talk to you all later! G p.s. I have a great tan now!! whooop whoooop!! hahaha! |
